The Cadmus Group is looking for professionals with a strong background in SAS
programming to join our Energy Services Group. Energy Services provides
advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies,
utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. We have a talented,
multidisciplinary staff that provides comprehensive solutions to complex energy
and sustainability problems. Our primary areas of focus are:
Demand Side Management:
Working with clients to assess potentials for energy savings and design
programs that capture the maximum savings potential.
Program Evaluation and Sustainability: Working with energy efficiency
program sponsors to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and portfolios.
Strategic Planning and Application Development: Working with clients to
manage existing and available data to optimize performance of programs and
business functions.
Applied Engineering and Technology: Perform renewable and diagnostic
energy audits and recommending efficiency improvements and product efficiency
standards.
General Responsibilities
- Analyze data using SAS, identifying trends, summarizing program events, and identifying causal impacts on program results.
- Document findings visually and/or verbally both internally and for clients.
- Assist with proposals, ensuring accuracy of content and adherence to Cadmus format.
- Proofread the writing of peers as assigned to ensure technical accuracy.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred in Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related area of study.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the energy industry, ideally in a consulting environment or related field.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following SAS products: Base SAS, SAS Macro Language,
STAT, ETS, OR, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Minter, and Forecast Studio.
- Experience developing SAS stored processes as well as add-ins for SAS Enterprise Guide using the Microsoft.NET framework (C# or VB) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
