CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2000--net.Genesis Corporation (NASDAQ: NTGX) (www.netgen.com) announced the initial public offering of 4,250,000 shares at an initial public offering price of $18.00. The stock ended its first trading day at $56.81, for a gain of 216 percent.

Another IPO on Feb 29 was Avenue A (www.avenuea.com) Seattle-based Avenue A provides Internet advertising and marketing services to clients such as Gateway Inc. and Microsoft Corp.
