Fame and riches await the next person to be webmaster for the KDD conference. Well, fame anyway. At least within data mining circles.

The KDD 2001 conference committee is seeking an energetic individual to help design and maintain the website for this year's conference, to be held in San Francisco, CA, August 20-23 2001.

As webmaster you'll be working closely with the conference chairs to build a clean, informative, usable, and professional site, and to update the site as new information becomes available. Your site will be used by thousands of data mining researchers and practitioners interested in the conference.

Those interested should send an email to George John, Publicity Chair for KDD2001 at gjohn@epiphany.com, describing your current position (student, postdoc, faculty), experience in data mining (publications, etc), and experience with web site design and URLs to your homepage or other sites you've done.
