This is a reminder that question period 2 for KDD Cup 2001

has started and will continue through July 24, 2001. Additional

information about KDD Cup 2001 is available at

2001 KDD Cup will focus on data from genomics and drug
design. Sufficient (yet concise) information will be provided so that
detailed domain knowledge is not a requirement for entry. Details and
data will be on-line at the end of May.  The 2001 KDD Cup will
challenge researchers to tackle a database with multiple relational
tables. Data also will be available in a single table ("flat file"),
for those who do not wish to do their own conversion or to use a
multi-relational algorithm. The flat file of course will come with the
usual risk of loss of some structural information that could cost
accuracy.
