"Text and Web mining",
21-22 November, 2001, Ljubljana, Slovenia

The seminar is intended for those who need to extract useful information
from large amounts of text and Web documents: developers of information
solutions, Internet consultants and services providers, users and
developers of language technologies. The seminar will cover basic and
advanced techniques of text analysis, including Web documents and data,
with examples from various application areas. Presentations will cover
text processing and categorization, indexing and similar operations on
single and multiple documents, with applications such as Web user
profiling. Participants will be able to see potential applications in
their own areas of work.

The seminar will also offer, as an optional extra, individual
consultations on text and web mining solutions, an XML tutorial, and a
social evening.
