MINEit changes name to Lumio, releases new e-business solutions

MINEit Software today announced that they have changed their name to Lumio.

Maurice Mulvenna, Chief Executive, said, "The Company is moving into a new phase of customer solutions. These solutions, collectively called the Re:cognition product suite improve the E-Business Effectiveness of customers' digital channels, including internet, wireless and digital TV."

Explaining the rationale behind the rebrand, Maurice said, "Our old name reflected our origins from within the European Data Mining centre of Excellence in the University of Ulster. We have invested heavily in world-beating technology development to optimise the effectiveness of e-business channels. Lumio represents the future, shedding new light on the 21st Century world of digital channel interactions between customers and organisations."

"Today a customer can hold a bank account and other financial products without ever having visited a branch location," said Maurice. "A customer can use the Internet to manage their accounts, text messaging to notify them of cheques clearing, and contact centres to question loan repayments. This creates a massive problem for financial services companies, who have to understand the customer across each and all of these different channels. Using Lumio's innovative solutions, businesses operating across digital channels will win and retain clients by offering exemplary customer service."

The ground-breaking Re:cognition product suite positions Lumio as the "E-Business Effectiveness Company", and the product suite is already in use with major accounts in Europe.
