Our growth has created the need to expand our employee team to include a Data Mining Engineer and a Text Mining Engineer

Main responsibilities

Collaborating with life science experts (customers and PharmaDM colleagues) to identify data mining tasks; selecting and extending state-of-the-art data mining techniques and building those into customized data mining solutions that assist researchers in pharma and biotech companies.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Extensive experience with data / text mining applications and/or R&D
• A broad unbiased view on the advantages and shortcomings of the major families of data / text mining strategies
• Interest in life sciences in general is required
• An important advantage is experience with data / text mining applications in life science related topics
• Another advantage is knowledge of and/or interest in:
  • Relational Data Mining
  • Active Learning (closed-loop-learning)
  • Image analysis
  • Databases
  • Programming
• Both self-reliant worker and enthusiastic team player
• Willing to continuously improve knowledge in state-of-the-art data mining techniques
• Able to communicate fluently (spoken and written) in English
