We are looking for a technical Engineering Manager to lead the Yahoo! Data Warehouse/Tools and Internal Reporting Engr. teams, which have a total of 10-12 high-caliber engineers. The candidate should have extensive experience in dealing with large data sets as well as seasoned knowledge about Data Warehousing & Data Mining. This person should be an experienced people manager who has also managed software products through their complete lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• BS/MS or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science
• 5-10 years of related software development experience.
• 2-5 years managing an Engineering team
• Strong verbal and written communictaion skills
• Excellent leadership skills.
