We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Mining engineer to work on developing software systems that help unveil the value of Yahoo's tremendous amount of data (> trillion bytes).

Qualified candidates should be proficient in C/C++ programming, and have good knowledge in data mining algorithms, such as artificial neural networks, decision trees, data clustering, collaborative filter, regression, optimization, text (English) analysis, image processing, etc. Hands-on experiences in some of these fields are required. The person should have good communication skills and ability to work with clients. In addition, the candidate should not only be a good thinker, but also like to implement his/her own ideas. A Masters degree or above in computer science/engineering or related areas is also required.
