The responsibilities include the development of predictive models designed to identify organizational opportunities with respect to profitability and growth; employ data mining techniques using available statistical software to determine relevant variable relationships; develop scoring algorithms based upon in-depth statistical analysis using advanced multivariate techniques of linear and logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks and generalized linear models.

The position requires a B.S./B.A. in mathematics, statistics or systems; statistical modeling experience; significant experience (3-7 years) as a statistical analyst in a research environment; ability to work independently to develop effective and creative solutions to corporate challenges and must be able to support these solutions empirically; strong theoretical knowledge of statistical techniques such as linear and logistic regression, neural networks, decision trees and generalized linear models; exposure to tools such as SAS and SPSS.
