This course gives students an understanding of the entire credit risk scorecard development process, and focuses on the business issues and considerations that go into scorecard development. This course provides:

• A high level introduction to credit risk management Attendees will get a high level overview of the credit risk industry, risk management tools and strategies. They will understand the different uses of credit risk scorecards, and learn industry terminology.
• Detailed methodology training for risk scorecard development Attendees will learn in depth, a methodology on how credit risk scorecards are developed, from the planning stages to delivery. Business and statistical aspects of scorecard development will be explored.
• Scorecard implementation strategies and maintenance This will cover post development activities including setting cutoffs, strategy development and scorecard maintenance reports.
