Due to expansion, GIP Exyr GmbH in Mainz, Germany offers the position of a

SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE CONSULTANT

GIP Exyr GmbH is the Business Intelligence subsidiary of holding company GIP AG located in Mainz, Germany. The company offers complete Data-Warehousing, Data-Mining and Personalization solutions in the form of consulting and implementation to both local and international companies in the telecommunications, finance, manufacturing and media sectors.

Your responsibilities:

• Conception and realization of challenging Data-Mining and Data-Warehousing solutions in off-the-shelf and/or in-house software.
• Customer consulting, support and assistance for project lifetimes.
• Realization of customer specifications in a technical implementation.
• Technical pre-sales support.

Your profile:

• You have completed a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics.
• Your have project experience in Data-Mining, Data-Warehousing, OLAP and Statistics. (Junior Consultant positions are available to candidates without project experience.)
• You are competent with Data-Mining software, particularly SAS and/or SPSS.
• You have experience in database and DWH design.
• You are friendly, goal and customer focused and understand the importance of professional presentation. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German is essential.
