International University Bremen (IUB) invites applications for a Research Associate / Postdoctoral Fellow in the research group of Dr. Adalbert Wilhelm, Professor of Statistics, Commerzbank Chair of Information Management, School of Humanities and Social Sciences

Research topics of the group include computational statistics, data mining, pattern recognition, statistical visualization, and information management. The major focus of this position is to advance research programs concerned with data mining on multi-media data. Excellent candidates with a Ph.D. in the fields of statistics, business information systems, information management, applied mathematics, or computer science are welcome to apply. Outstanding candidates with a Diploma or Masters Degree in one of these fields will be considered as well.

IUB offers an international environment with motivated young faculty and collaborations across the disciplines. Knowledge of German is not essential since English is the common language on campus.
