CFPCALL FOR PAPERS Inauguration Issue: January 2005
International Journal of Data Warehousing and Mining
Data warehousing and data mining share many common issues. In enterprises, large volume of data has been collected and stored in data warehouses. Mining data warehouses raises unique issues and requires special attention. Treating data warehousing and data mining separately may not be practical, since they are inter-related, and this journal particularly pays attention to the fact that mining data warehousing requires holistic techniques from the two disciplines. Advances in data gathering, storage and distribution have also created a need for integrating data warehousing and data mining techniques. Mission: International Journal of Data Warehousing and Mining (IJDWM) aims to publish and disseminate knowledge on an international basis in the areas of data warehousing and data mining. It is published multiple times a year, with the purpose of providing a forum for state-of-the-art developments and research, as well as current innovative activities in data warehousing and mining.
