RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of a centralized, well established Information Planning and Knowledge Architecture team within a Fortune 100 company, provide Knowledge Representation, Knowledge Engineering and Data Modeling support, developing application specific and Enterprise level models.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified candidate must have a degree within the areas of MIS, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Business Administration or equivalent work experience. At least five years of experience in Data Modeling in both OLTP and Data Warehousing is preferred. Knowledge Engineering experience is required preferably in developing industrial-strength operational knowledge-based systems. Strong analytical and communication skills are required. Experience with ERWIN or comparable data modeling tools sets along with an understanding of relational database concepts and implementation is necessary. Experience is also required with at least one rules-based system such as CLIPS. Familiarity in developing and participating in Enterprise Architecture and/or familiarity with UML/Object Oriented design, Semantic Web, OWL and RDF is highly desirable.
