Reporting to the EVP, Edmunds Information Solutions the Executive Director, Data Program Management is responsible for oversight of all aspects of Edmunds' data standards, quality and warehouse requirements efforts in support of an array of current and planned data driven products. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable operating at strategic/conceptual as well as operational levels. Specific activities will involve data taxonomy development, data project management, establishing and refining data warehouse requirements, and data standards/stewardship.

Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to implement and enforce best practices
• Improve data management procedures and processes in support of multiple lines of new product development.
• Lead team of internal employees and contracted resources to develop new data taxonomy structure.
• Establish and enforce data standards/stewardship to ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with the IT and Product Development organizations to ensure that systems, applications, policies, procedures and standards can scale to match the growth and success of new business offerings/products
• Leverage your expertise to function as liaison between the technical community and the business community during all phases of the product development and delivery life cycle.

• 10 years directly related experience including exceptional people and project management experience as well as demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
• Significant track record of accomplishment working in organizations that transform vast amounts of raw data into successful products and services
• Prior experience managing large scale data programs, projects and systems in support of the development or delivery of large scale data driven products or services,
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project teams and initiatives
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience
• Strong technical capabilities with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
• Must be able to think through and implement immediate solutions as well as designing, articulating and implementing long term process oriented solutions.
• Proven process improvement and business analysis experience.
• Must be able to work and manage resources under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• MS CS or BS CS and an MBA preferred, with consulting experience desirable.
