RedPill was founded 5 years ago by a group of professionals with significant experience in strategy consulting and marketing with leading companies. Our clients include Hewlett-Packard (HP), Nokia, Bank Central Asia, Bank Danamon, Telekom Malaysia, Cendant Travel network, HDFC Bank, and other blue-chip local and MNC players in the telecoms, financial services and technology industries.

We are currently aggressively expanding our customer analytics offering. Our analytics offer is highly differentiated as we typically work directly with senior management teams to provide a total outsourced solution covering business, technology, and marketing services, provided both on- and off-site. Our intent is to become the leading firm in Asia providing managed analytics services to the financial services and telecom sectors. We have recently set up a KPO centre in Madras and intend to develop it into a centre of excellence.

To support our continued expansion into analytics, we seek to hire a Data Mining & Analytics Practice Head for our analytics business. She/he will lead and develop our analytics business and help in setting up offshore delivery centers.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of management team, lead analytics projects delivery and product development, and support all analytics pre-sales activities
• Develop analytical models including churn management models, response modeling, customer profitability models & propensity models
• Develop and present recommendations to clients and project stakeholders
• Provide client interface; manage relationships with client team members
• Lead teams consisting of Data Miners and ETL experts in various projects
• Refine RedPill analytical techniques & develop new product capabilities
• Lead analytical training programs for clients as well as RedPill staff

• Masters and above in Statistics/Computer Science or similar from a leading university; Doctorate is preferable
• 10 years of experience in software development/research, consulting, data mining, campaign management etc
• Good project management skills and experience
• Experience with commercial data mining tools and environments such as SAS, SPSS Clementine, Unica, IBM Intelligent Miner etc.
• Substantial knowledge of analytics in financial services, telecom or technology companies
• Experience using advanced techniques to address business problems
• Strong numerical/analytical and communications skills
