We are looking for creative researchers with excellent mathematical and programming skills. Projects require the ability to extract information from a variety of large datasets and to create effective standalone web and software applications. You will help to support the management of over $3 billion in shareholder assets through our investment division, progress in medical research through charitable, university-affiliated and in-house projects, and the development of competitive internet projects through our venture lab. Creativity and initiative are highly rewarded. Candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, with the ability to develop software and web applications (C++, Java, Perl, Matlab, etc) delivering complex analytics through clean user interfaces. Requirements include a strong mathematical background, including statistics and linear algebra, and familiarity with Bayesian networks, hidden Markov models, latent semantics, Kalman filtering, etc. Proven experience in data mining, programming and web development preferred.
