The Regional Manager of Data Mining and Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing the development of a strong data mining and customer analysis infrastructure to support the execution of marketing campaigns regionally and the successful analysis of data to support all distribution channels and profit centers.

Key deliverables include:

• Manage the quantitative analysis functions in support of the Life company's activities. This includes but not limited to Customer Marketing Group, Agency, Profit Centers, etc.
• Recommend marketing or sales programs based on data analysis and mining models
• Support both Profit Centers and Distribution Channels in developing models to increase Sales and Marketing effectiveness
• Enrich data quality and variety so as to improve campaign targeting Process/infrastructure

• University graduate with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
• 7 - 10 years business analysis experience
• Experience/knowledge with various data mining tools and statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS required
• Exposure to data warehouse tools and methodologies, preferably in Oracle or Sybase environments with hands on experience with a SQL-compliant RDBMS
• Insurance or financial services experience useful
• Good interpersonal skill and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated willingness to be hands-on
• Ability to work independently and in a team to suggest innovative solutions to challenging business/technical problems
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
