Elder Research, Inc. - an innovative 15-person company headquartered in Charlottesville, VA - is seeking a Programmer / Analyst to join its growing team in the Washington, DC / Baltimore, MD area focused on national security. The applicant must be a US citizen and have, or be willing to apply for, a top-secret security clearance.

The top Programmer / Analyst applicant will have two (2) years of data mining experience and a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline -- OR -- a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years related experience. We are looking for a self-starter, able to judge well among competing paths to explore, with strong programming skills and keen analysis ability, who is eager to work with highly-motivated colleagues and clients.

A more senior position (Senior Data Miner) is also possible for an exceptional candidate with significant experience.
