Building software ('back-end' for Virtual Earth) to understand and answer these queries is our job. We are looking for a seasoned SDET Lead who isn't daunted by massive databases, APIs with tight performance requirements, and aggressive release schedules. If that's you, please read on... This is a killer opportunity to be a part of a team working on a key initiative for MS that is the top priority for Search space and the company overall. As an SDET Lead on our team, you will manage and grow a high performing team of SDETs and be responsible for delivering a quality product while maintaining a high degree of team health. This includes but isn't limited to demonstrating exceptional technical aptitude, being an effective leader in mentoring and providing guidance & feedback to your team, ensuring thorough test coverage of owned components, having influence on product direction, managing realistic balance of test resource allocation and scheduling, working closely with other product leads on fast-track release cycles, etc... Additional responsibilities include incorporating & improving QA processes to help us build in quality from the start, establishing exit criteria, and helping coordinate both within our team and across multiple teams. This team will be pushing the envelope on adopting new test methodologies and engineering excellence processes. A qualified candidate should have QA experience with all stages of the product cycle and people management experience (FTE & CSG). Experience with C#, .Net Framework and development tools are a strong plus, as are solid communication/ interpersonal skills. Requirements:
