Kiha Software, a well-funded startup, is introducing a novel user experience platform for mobile devices. Mobile communications and mobile devices are about to evolve in exciting ways! Kiha software is on the leading edge of this wave to provide customers with a new and innovative mobile experience.

As our data modeling expert you will be responsible for the design and implementation of our user pattern tracker system for Kiha Software. We are looking for someone with broad knowledge of data modeling and analysis techniques, as well as the drive to succeed in building world-class software components. We are looking for someone who is familiar with data clustering, categorization/classification, and predictive behavior models. You should also have at least 5 years of development experience with Java on Linux architecture.

This is a startup environment, so flexibility, a self-starting attitude, and team-oriented mentality are essential.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent programming skills using Java is required, Ruby and HTML are a plus.
• Excellent proficiency/experience in working in a Linux environment, with Windows knowledge a plus.
• Algorithmically agile including the ability to understand and implement sophisticated text and data mining algorithms.
• Experience with natural language processing or text categorization a plus.
• Solid understanding of data structures including strong understanding of SQL
• 5+ years of development experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong experience with large scale commercially deployed systems for the web or in the enterprise.
