The previous KDnuggets Poll asked: How much vacation time you took (or plan to take) in 2008?

Based on almost 200 responses, the longest vacations are taken by European, (not surprisingly), with average of 4.2 weeks.

US/Canada data miners were in the middle with an average of 2.9 weeks, and the Latin American data miners worked the most, with only 1.9 weeks vacation reported.

Compared with 2007 KDnuggets Vacation Poll, in 2008 we got more respondents and shorter reported vacations.

Is it because data miners get busier ?
