Job description
In partnership with the AVP, No Fault Claims Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing Liberty Mutual's no fault claims strategy, with the objective of delivering highly competitive outcomes in terms of both quality of customer service, loss and expense control. Manages all aspects of the most sensitive, highly visible and comprehensive corporate projects. Negotiates project objectives and direction with senior level Corporate managers. Projects vary in scope and duration. This is a strategic role which will focus on the building of best of breed processes. We are seeking someone who has a demonstrated history of superior analytical skills coupled with re-engineering of process and workflows. This role will be highly visible and will be charged with building our next generation strategy and processes around No Fault claims processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops data driven claims handling strategy that facilitates best in class results.
  • Utilizes predictive modeling, advanced data mining and analytics to implement exception based claims handling and identify and/or develop best in class operating models.
  • Works cross organizationally and with outside vendors to develop comprehensive processes.
  • Develops and executes project and program plans.
  • Conducts competitive analysis to determine best of breed programs.
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of progressively more responsible work experience, preferably in insurance.
  • MBA and/or CPCU preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding skill in using a variety of analytical software to facilitate analysis.
  • Knowledge of no fault claims operations.
  • Superior communication and project management skills.
  • Exceptional influencing skills to lead projects with participants who are not directly managed by incumbent.
