Cars.com, a leader in Online Automotive Marketing, is seeking a Quantitative Research Engineer/Scientist to develop robust and nimble dynamic models using Predictive Modeling, Time Series Analysis, Data Mining, Control Theory, Optimization and Simulation Techniques. This is a research and development position. Peer-Reviewed Publications and Experience in Game Theory, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Financial Models and Search Engine Auctions is desired but not required.

The ideal candidate has a post-graduate degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics or a related field plus at least four years of experience. Please be a self starter and a team player with a track record of significant technical contributions.
