View Additional Information (MS Word) Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology The Centre for Quantum Computation and Intelligent Systems (QCIS) is one of five University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) priority investment centres. The Centre's vision aims to develop theoretical foundations of the quantum computation, innovative technology and practical systems of next-generation enterprise intelligent systems. Data Mining and Machine Learning are the core research areas in the QCIS Centre. Your solid publication records in the relevant areas in quality journals and quality conferences combined with the demonstration of your ability to attract national competitive grants makes you an ideal applicant for this role. Following the successful completion of your PhD degree in a relevant area you will be an integral part of a busy team working under pressure to meet deadlines . The position could be a Level C (Senior Lecturer) or Level B (Lecturer) depending on your research track record. In the initial five years, this is a research-only academic position. After five years, it becomes a normal teaching-research academic position. Salary range: Level C (Senior Lecturer) $89,551 to $103,386 pa Or Level B (Lecturer) $73,149 to $86,846 pa The University offers salary packaging plus attractive employer contribution superannuation.
