Quantum Leap Innovations is looking for a Mathematician/Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • Dual degree in Computer Science and Applied Math with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3+. MS degree preferred. Candidates with a BS or MS degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics may also be considered.
  • Significant experience in Java software development; Java IDEs, especially Eclipse.
  • Strong background in mathematics; experience in scientific computing or computational modeling; Algorithm design/implementation and code development; Familiarity with empirical/mathematical modeling techniques a plus.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience/internship is required. Relevant research experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Must be able to speak and understand fluent English.
  • Must be willing to reside in the Delaware region.
  • US Citizenship or Resident Alien strongly preferred. Must already be authorized to work in the US. Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement analytic solutions in Java for our projects, contracts, partners, and products.
  • Rapidly learn, assess and adapt to different analysis methods, environments and paradigms.
  • Explore new topics in computational analysis software or related application domains with limited oversight and input from mentors.
