Lecturer in Data Mining

The Centre for Quantum Computation and Intelligent Systems (QCIS) is one of five priority investment centres at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). The Centre's vision aims to develop theoretical foundations of quantum computation, innovative technology and practical systems of next-generation enterprise intelligent systems. Data Mining is a core research area in the QCIS Centre.

One of the strengths of the QCIS Centre is data mining application in industry, such as government, stock market, insurance, and banking. More information can be found from our website at: http://datamining.it.uts.edu.au.

Your strong track record in attracting and managing industry funding in the data mining area, or attracting industry-related government funding makes you an ideal applicant for this role. If you have published data mining related papers in quality journals and quality conferences, you will be a very strong applicant. Following the successful completion of your PhD degree in a relevant area you will be an integral part of a busy team working under pressure to meet deadlines. The position is a five-year fixed term Level B (Lecturer) research-only position.

Salary range: Level B (Lecturer) $73,149 to $86,846 pa

The University offers salary packaging plus attractive employer contribution superannuation.
