How to mine this data

Hi,

I have a data file set that contains time stamped operation information. There is another file that contains parameters that do not change with time. The operation timed data is assumed to be cyclic depending on different conditions. Like this set I have multiple sets which I want to mine for cyclic patterns or inferences which are not present in the data files. How can I achieve this? Any help or direction is highly appreciated.
