hi. im trying to compare some data mining tools. the tools are R, Orange, Rapidminer and SAS Enterprise miner. Can anyone give me information about the difference in their features?
eg: Orange is a open source but Enterprise miner is a commercial tools. |

| You could start from reading their Wikipedia descriptions to get the general description of each tool. |

I have used Rapidminer and R , So I can tell about it. R helps you with cutting edge statistical and data mining research . Whereas RapidMiner has a huge range of data mining methods. The best thing is you can easily connect the two because RapidMiner can execute R scripts for data input, transformation and graphing so you can easily connect the two.
