Subject: Interpreting Neural Network Results

I am using an Artificial Neural Network to predict a binary outcome. How should I interpret the results? Most ANN algorithms will return the weights that were assigned to each attribute, but how can I determine which attributes are most useful in predicting a particular outcome? Or how can I determine which attributes had which affects on a particular outcome? With decision trees, this is easy, but it is obviously much differernt with ANNs.
