Nice idea! But why don't you authorize external contributions? It would be much more interesting if anybody can add his favorite articles, websites, etc.

Would Sandro or Alex suggest a good mechanism for KDnuggets,
which allows external contributions but keeps spam out?

I tried swicki, but that did not work well.

I think the idea of searchtest is good. Google custom search engine is fine. I have tried a new custom search engine were anybody can contribute. Let's see if the spam is a problem. The address is here:

Normally, anybody can contribute to it. Up to now I have added only 20 sites. Feel free to add yours.

For KDnuggets, I whink you can do the same or integrate the search box of an existing custom search engine in KDnuggets itself. Then you can limit the contribution access to people you invite.
