Hi,
Our business is investigating moving away from processing/storing data in a traditional database and towards using MapReduce, Hadoop, or Cloud computing solutions. Does anyone know of any data mining software that is built (or can be made) to mine data in these distributed flat file systems? I'd like to avoid pulling data off of the file system to analyze - it seems to defeat much of the benefits gained from the parallel computing architecture.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
