hi all, I want to have an advice from anyone expert on this topic.

I'm planning to do regression analysis on my dataset. The target variable is in form of 'count' data which fall into poisson distribution.

How am I going to do the analysis in SAS E-miner with this type of data.? Do i need to transform the target variable into 'log' first..?

By the way, is it SAS E-miner the best way to analyse this data..? I've seach a lot of literature but it seems like the poisson regression analysis is done through some SAS programming code..(e.g PROC GENMODE) is'it located in other module..? maybe my Uni doesn't buy the license for other modul since when i click to some other module, there's pop-up window mentioned that it was not part of subscription..

Any comment on this..? thanks..
