Interested in Data Science for the Common Good? Are you curious about integrating data from a variety of sources for solving important problems? Do you enjoy asking big questions and developing data science algorithms?

The Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) at the University of Notre Dame has two openings for postdoctoral fellows in data science, under the direction of Prof. Nitesh Chawla.

The Fellows are expected to lead and contribute to independent and original research programs with impact to one or more domains. Ideal candidates will have earned a PhD in computer science or statistics. The candidate's research should have an applied flavor of machine learning, data mining, and statistical learning, and published in top venues. The candidate will also have a track record in working in interdisciplinary teams. The candidate will have strong programming skills, and proficient in written and spoken communication. We offer a competitive salary for our postdoctoral researchers.
