The Information and Telecommunication Technology Center (ITTC) at the University of Kansas (KU) seeks applicants for a full-time postdoctoral research position. We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our efforts to advance machine learning and data mining for better modeling of large amounts of data from scientific domains. Required qualifications include a relevant PhD and familiarity with machine learning theory and algorithms, and minimum 5 years programming experience in C++, Java, or Matlab, and strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of biological or pharmaceutical data and high performance computing and cloud computing is a plus. This is a one year appointment with the possibility of extension. The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with a team of academics, PhD students and undergraduates.
