Salary: 80-90K + bonus


  • A degree from a Canadian or U.S. University in Computer Science, Statistics or Engineering
  • Masters or PHD preferred


  • Understands various data mining techniques and segmentation strategies
  • Text classification using R/SAS/SPSS (R preferred)

  • Oracle Database 10/11
  • Conceptual & Logical Designing of Data Models
  • Decision Trees and Regression analysis
  • Working Knowledge of Java programming concepts

  • Analyze large amounts of transactional data using data mining technique to determine the most predictive data attributes
  • Perform back tests and other techniques on data to determine the best modeling algorithms
  • Lead, develop, and maintain all common dimensions in the analytics environment
  • Work with DBA's to ensure optimum data performance
  • Support the DBA's and Solution Architects to provide the best solutions to meet project needs that are aligned with strategic direction
  • Control data model changes through active involvement throughout the project lifecycle, as well as reviewing and approving data designs.
