Summary: The Analyst, Database Analytics is responsible for maintaining the databases owned or created by the team as well as develop knowledge of other databases within the organization with which to integrate the data. The Database Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the data quality and database attribute documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enhancement of existing database functions based on new/changing business requirements
  • Develop familiarity with other corporate databases in order to integrate sales and customer data
  • Report, research, correct, and test defects in reports, stored procedures and other database related functions
  • Establish or update standards as required by departmental needs
  • Development and maintenance of database procedures, reports and automated jobs
  • Creating customized reports for internal clients using multiple databases
  • Perform data quality audits to maintain and assure data integrity
  • Develop familiarity with data in order to review and edit reports and dashboards
  • Maintain database documentation
  • Provide regular status reports to management
  • Ongoing maintenance of assigned and unassigned database projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree in computer science, math or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-5 years of experience or equivalent education with SQL, T-SQL, Teradata
  • Relational database experience
  • Cognos strongly preferred
  • Experience with SSRS, Business Objects, or Crystal Reports a plus
  • Object oriented programming a plus
  • Fluency in MS Excel, VBA and Access
