Business Analytics for New Customer Engagement (NCE)
NCE is part of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Operations and is responsible for the on-boarding of new customers into the Card Services and Retail Telephone banking businesses. While the focus is primarily on Call Center Operations, new customers can apply via any of the other available channels, such as Chase.com, Branch or Letter applications. Chase on-boards 250,000 new customers per month and there exists a significant opportunity to streamline existing processes, standardize experiences across channels and improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Capture the business requirements for the analytics projects
  • Create business cases, coordinate/collaborate with various internal & vendor team
  • Create and manage project plans and tasks lists to co-ordinate cross-functional teams of subject matter experts from the business, data scientists, data warehouse architects and engineers
  • Work with data providers to extract data relevant for analysis
  • Create data definitions for new database file/table development and/or changes to existing ones as needed for analysis
  • Provide & apply QA best practices for data mining/analysis services.
  • Collaborate with unit managers, end users, development staff, and other stakeholders to integrate data mining results with existing systems
  • The role will require working on multiple projects simultaneously

 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in a structured project management environment with a demonstrated appreciation for disciplined project management
  • Strong familiarity with Analytical project lifecycles that involve data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation & visualization
  • Exposure to data mining models, structures and theories
  • Ability to interact effectively with different business units, team members, and external client at all levels
  • Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity matched with desire to organize it
  • Proficient or has had exposure to computer and analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, Adobe Insights, SQL, and MS Office
  • Financial Services (Consumer or Retail), Telecommunications, Retail or Media experience
