If you're an experienced campaign analyst, you're probably frustrated by the siloed nature of most campaign reporting capabilities. The web team talks to the e-mail team, who isn't measuring things the same way; clicks get attributed twice or not at all and calamity ensues. This is your opportunity to change all of that. The time has come for unified campaign metrics! The place is UBS. The role is for you.

UBS Research is in the process of building a street-leading platform for research distribution. Since we are a very metrics-focused team, the measurement of these campaigns is front-and-center in our strategy. We need an analyst to help us define our attribution strategy, KPIs, and reporting framework for our cross channel campaigns. You will be joining a team of data lovers that is looking to enhance their capabilities by bringing on an expert in web analytics and campaign measurement.

Since we are building this platform from the ground up, you have the unique opportunity to influence the system design to ensure you get the metrics you need. This means helping in the selection of a web analytics tool and the implementation of our campaign platform. We see the power in many of the components of the vendor toolsets so you can expect to have a full suite of tools at your disposal.

Your primary focus will be the tracking of research campaigns from send to open to click to landing page activity and finally monetization. Getting this holistic view of campaign effectiveness and impact is essential to our strategy and you will be at the center of it. This role is most appropriate for someone with experience tracking and analyzing multi-channel campaigns using both web analytics and e-mail marketing tools.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the instrumentation of web analytics functionality on our web sites
  • Lead A/B and multivariate tests
  • Work with the marketing and e-mail teams to ensure all campaigns are tagged appropriately
  • Create standard, recurring reports to manage program effectiveness
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for campaign analysis
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve future campaigns

 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with a web analytics product (Omniture, Google analytics, Web trends, etc)
  • Experience with an e-mail marketing platform (ex. Unica, Eloqua, Responsys, Neolane)
