The Mind Research Network (MRN) and the Lovelace Scientific Research (LSR) divisions of Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI) are looking for a driven and visionary team leader for the position of Senior Data Scientist in our data science division, Datalytic Solutions.

At Datalytics, our primary purpose is to effectively communicate complex data-oriented ideas to the appropriate customer audience, requiring:
  • Rapid design of intuitive visualizations.
  • Solutions across industries.
  • Domain expertise in a variety of specialties.
  • Interfaces and visuals which are simple, powerful, and beautiful.


Demonstrable experience is required in the following areas:
  • Working with data in Python, MATLAB and R, and the relevant packages, and fluidly migrating between them
  • Scripting solutions quickly, for example, in bash
  • Supervised learning: classification in particular
  • Unsupervised learning: clustering methods and dimensionality reduction
  • Graphical models, for example, graph analysis, probabilistic graphical models and spectral approaches
  • Statistical models, for example, ANOVA, MANOVA, and general linear models (GLM) Demonstrable experience is preferred in the following areas:
  • Data visualization for presentation and web deployment
  • Text Mining or Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Time Series Modeling: Markov chains, HMMs
  • Artificial neural networks and other deep learning approaches
