Job Summary:
The Senior Manager Marketing Analytics leads marketing strategy projects across full spectrum of marketing strategy offering. Drives thought leadership and business development initiatives across suite of Marketing Strategy & Analysis offering. Serves as trusted advisor to key decision makers, both externally and internally. Also, provides analysis, forecasting and reporting that informs and improves the effectiveness of the planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy and online programs. You will manage the full analytical project lifecycle, from business development to final delivery, connecting optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and underlying business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Assessment
    • Guide assessments across multiple client engagements; articulate best practice approaches and guides multiple teams simultaneously
    • Synthesize assessment insights with other insights (market research, competitive research, brand assessment, analytics) to develop fully informed and holistic marketing strategy

     
  • Marketing Strategy & Planning
    • Develop deliverable frameworks and guide development of core marketing strategies, including:
      • Pilot Program Development
      • Customer Segmentation Strategy
      • Sales / Marketing Lifecycle Development
      • Concept Modeling
      • Web/Domain Strategy
      • E-commerce/POS/Pop Strategy
      • Marketing Strategy
      • CRM Strategy

       
    • Coordinate and consolidate insights across primary and secondary research, analytics, brand strategy and marketing strategy to create holistic view of current marketing and business performance and identify opportunities for optimizing marketing and business strategy
    • Develop short-term quick wins and longer-term roadmaps for activating marketing strategies

     
  • Thought Leadership
    • Identify marketing and marketing strategy trends and best practices
    • Generate and develop points of view and thought leadership pieces
    • Create business development and marketing collateral
    • Present white papers, points of view and other best practices material at conferences

     
  • Business Development
    • Develop business cases for proposals and client engagements across multiple industries and objectives
    • Support business development activities and client proposals
    • Build relationships with senior clients and identify new business opportunities
    • Identify new business opportunities across full spectrum of Marketing Strategy & Analysis offerings

     
  • Client and Project Management
    • Create strong working relationships with clients in marketing and marketing strategy & analysis roles
    • Lead broad spectrum of analytics engagements and manage all client deliverables
    • Serve as trusted advisor to key decision makers

     

 


Job Requirements:
  • 7+ years of industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • Degree in communications, business, mathematics or any related field, or 3-6 years of experience within an analytical area required
  • Accountability for budget or client revenue
  • 3+ years of client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships
  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills and be proficient in spreadsheet applications
  • Databases / SQL querying and programming a plus
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated use of statistical modeling helpful
  • Experience with multivariate testing helpful
