The Search-Match and Data-Linking Senior Director will champion the data-linking and entity-resolution needs for Equifax Workforce Solutions. This individual will be responsible for gathering requirements, interfacing with relevant business partners across the enterprise, and developing and executing against a comprehensive search-match and data-linking roadmap for Equifax Workforce Solutions.

The Senior Director of Search-Match and Data-Linking will perform complex modeling and algorithm development on large data sets to resolve disparate data into a single real-world entity and develop relationship structures among entities. Typical solutions will use probabilistic matching, machine learning and graph theory to resolve entities within very large scale structured and unstructured data sets. Additional responsibilities will be to develop quantitative and qualitative analyses to validate recommendations and create clear presentations.

Manage analytical projects from inception through execution including data collection and analysis, model development and implementation and monitoring model performance.

Develop and review analytic project designs to test the quality of new data sources.

Document key steps, procedures, decisions, results, and other relevant information for analyses.

This individual will be responsible for gathering requirements, interfacing with relevant business partners across the enterprise, and developing and executing against a comprehensive search-match and data-linking roadmap for Equifax Workforce Solutions.

The Senior Director of Search-Match and Data-Linking will perform complex modeling and algorithm development on large data sets to resolve disparate data into a single real-world entity and develop relationship structures among entities. Key Deliverables:

  • Working with IT, product managers, sales consultants and technology teams to ensure new solutions are implemented in an efficient manner
  • Identifying/developing appropriate machine learning/data mining/text mining techniques to resolve entities and create relationships
  • Prototyping tools and techniques to solve complex data problems
  • Developing data-driven models to quantify the value of a given data set
  • Validating entity resolution and linking capabilities
  • Conducting ROI and benefit analysis
  • Documenting and presenting process and performance measurements
  • Develop the 3-5+ year search-match and data-linking strategy for Workforce Solutions.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and management to implement search-match strategies that solve customer business problems
  • Design innovative search-match solutions and lead the development of those solutions (Proof of Concept development, business case development, feasibility analysis, prototyping through full new product deliverables)
  • Internal Business Development – work with Product Managers, Sales Consultants and Technology teams to ensure new solutions are implemented in an efficient manner
  • Serve as a thought leader within both within the organization as well as within the Employer Services markets we operate

Who You Are (Requirements):

  • Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Applied Math or other quantitative fields
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in analytics, data mining, data visualization, and/or predictive modeling
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects from start to finish
  • Ability to independently support existing products
  • Ability to work within the confines of governance measures
  • Proven track record in modifying and applying advanced algorithms to address practical problems
  • Proven ability to work independently on the development of complex models with extremely large and complex data structures
  • Proficient in more than one of SQL, Python, R, Java, C++, or C
  • Robust knowledge and experience with statistical methods and hypothesis testing
  • Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL related technologies such as Map Reduce, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, mongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
  • Experience with transforming large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data into useable information
