Seeking a candidate to support the research aims of developing and evaluating multi-stage search engines. The appointee will help develop novel indexing / querying techniques and create new ranking algorithms for web-scale data collections.

The position will support the research aims of developing and evaluating multi-stage search engines. The appointee will help develop novel indexing / querying techniques and create new ranking algorithms for web-scale data collections.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous research experience in Information Retrieval will be essential to your success, in addition to an interest in one or more of the following: machine learning, data science, algorithm engineering, data compression, or natural language processing. Previous experience with software development for large projects is essential and the applicant must show evidence of both research and software development skills.
