I, like many of you, was deeply shocked and saddened by the September 11 horrific terrorist attack on the United States.

Now, more than a week later, it is time to begin recovery. Not because it is easy and we want to feel joyful, but because we have an obligation to the victims, their families, and to all those who cherish the freedoms that America stands for. We may never get back to "normal", but we should get back to being productive. Otherwise, it is a second victory for the terrorists.
