Data Miner Income/Salary By Region 2007

As in the past year, data miners are most compensated in US/Canada, with median income (excluding students) estimated around US $100-110,000. The detailed results are shown in the following table. The global annual income/salary (students excluded) can be estimated at $91,000.

Compared to 2006 KDnuggets Data Miner Income (Salary) by Region Poll, where estimated average income was $83,000, the global average data mining income increased about 10% !
