Customer Analytics has an immediate opening for a Data Modeler in our
Burlington office.  We are a leader in industry-specific web-based Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM)
applications.  Our solutions allow "click and mortar" organizations to
leverage key customer information and knowledge and make it actionable-from
the executive offices to the front line-in order to maximize customer
value.

The qualified candidate will:

* Apply data mining and statistical analysis techniques on large data
  sets to develop predictive and segmentation models that address the
  relationship management problems of services institutions.

* Analyze client databases to ensure that they meet the data
  requirements of our Predictive Model Library.

* Apply those models to the client database and rebuilds those models
  as necessary.

* Interpret the data analysis results and communicates them to
  technical and non-technical audiences.

* Work with the business analysis, database creation and software
  development groups of the company and its clients.

Requirements:

* BS degree in Statistics or Computer Science with emphasis on machine
  learning.

* Masters degree preferred with 2-4 years of prior experience in
  modeling for database marketing.

* Strong knowledge of linear and non-linear data analysis methods from
  statistics and data mining and their application to database and
  relationship marketing.

* Proficiency in at least one data mining and statistical analysis
  package.

* Solid experience in sampling, model validation, data estimation and
  exploratory data analysis.

* Proficiency with base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS macro, SQL, Access, Word,
  Excel and Powerpoint.

* Strong communication skills.

* Prior experience with database marketing in financial services
  industry is a plus.
