Software Design Engineer: data mining/analysis
Job number SDE141

You will design and implement high-performance software to analyze data in
large databases and draw statistical and logical conclusions. You must have
excellent design and coding skills with a demonstrated ability to work both
independently and in an aggressive, small team environment. You should have
at least 4 years of experience in developing data mining/analysis software
and server applications, a strong background in C/C++, and some knowledge of
SQL and Oracle databases. Expertise in a range of machine learning,
statistics, and data analysis techniques is a strong plus. A BS or MS in
computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work
experience is required. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also
supervise other software design engineers.
