Data Digest Corporation is a brand-new start-up company just out of
Stanford University located in San Carlos. The company has already
attracted heavy-hitter backers, experienced management and a top-notch
Board of Directors. But it is still early enough for generous stock
options and the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this
exciting start-up opportunity.

Data Digest's Server-based Software Product will allow companies to
automate business decision-making processes. It uses cutting-edge
technologies including machine learning, in ways that have never
before been commercialized. The technology is very solid and the
applications are virtually unlimited. As a result, the company has
attracted attention from a series of world-class organizations, and is
actively building strategic partnerships with companies that are
household names in their respective industries.

CREATE YOUR OWN JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently expanding our engineering team to design and
implement features of our core technology and deploy a beta at a
marquee customer. We have many exciting software engineering
challenges to choose from including:

* Algorithms

Designing and efficiently implementing highly scalable machine
learning algorithms.  The candidate should have an interest in
probability, machine learning, distributed systems, or design of
complex algorithms.

* GUI

Designing and implementing C++/Java application GUI's.  These
applications expand the state-of-the-art for visualizing knowledge
representations and relational databases. The GUI should exemplify
clear design, ease of use, and an intuitive interface.

* Client/Server

Designing and implementing an architecture to support distributed,
multi-threaded, Java based, client-server applications. This position
also requires developing application interfaces.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bachelor�s degree or equivalent and 2+ years relevant experience
with emphasis on C++/Java development, 2D/3D graphics, or real-time
distributed Applications

DESIRED SKILLS:

Advanced degree in related field
