SUMMARY:
Creates the exploratory data analysis reports, solicitation list, and
develops and completes the back end analysis for the direct marketing
campaigns of an assigned business unit(s) within the company. Takes an
active role with the integrated direct marketing team and marketing
product managers to recommend and to incorporate target audience
segmentation, promotional offer segmentation, analysis, and statistical
model needs into direct mail, telemarketing, and web marketing campaign
lists.  Applies datawarehouse tools and the capabilities of outside data
processing firms to create these targeted lists, based on previous
database marketing experience.  Provides guidance in the career and
technical development of database marketing analysts.

SKILLS:

1. Direct Marketing Experience--experience with the execution and
measurement of direct mail, telemarketing, and web marketing campaigns.

2. Computer Programming Experience-writing SAS and SQL programming for
direct marketing campaigns.

3. Banking and Investment Product Experience

4. Marketing and Sales Skills--understanding consumer behavior, consumer
motivations, sales processes, creative messaging, copywriting, how to
create awareness, interest, and preference

5. Project Management Skills--ability to achieve business objectives
through the implementation of marketing campaigns where the campaigns take
place within the constraints of established schedule and budget

6. Data Content Evaluation Skills--experience investigating the quality
information in data warehouses, data marts, and data files.
